How is your online store great and what is challenging about an on line store?
January 31st, 2010 | by admin |I am going to open my online clothing store for junior/ young lady. Since I’ll be transfering from ca community college to a univ i want to be able to work from home and a little outside of home, plus i love fashion lol if you saw me you would think "makeover" lol anywho i dont really have money to buy clothes (its like a luxury now since i am in college and live by myself) so i thought if i could buy clothes, make profit and wear them that would be AWESOME! Anywho, I would like to know other online store owners’ experience from the positive to negative things to come?
I had a store for a long time. It was great as I had the ability to work from home. But, I had to have a place for all my stock (my bedroom closet) which was a pain in the butt. With the clothes I sold I got a lot of returns because of sizing. So I stopped excepting returns and my sales went down. So I took returns again and just had to absorb the extra costs that came with that.
I moved my store to Ebay and it has been great. Same type of challenges but I am protected more and I get paid properly. I works well. Good luck, it can be great if you let it.
