An online store ripped me off. How can I get my money back?

March 4th, 2010 | by admin |

I purchased a tshirt from an online retailer. They billed my card, but never shipped my item and won’t respond to my emails. What sort of steps can I take to get my money back or at least report them as a disreputable store? Thanks!

Better Business Bureau and/or contact your bank or credit card holder and ask what steps can be taken. Usually, they will send you a form to fill out and then you send it back with all your information and they should reimburse you.

Contact your credit card company and dispute the charge.

Contact your credit card company and dispute the charges with the same information you just provided here.
Your credit card company will then contact the seller to get you either a refund or the product. You will not be held liable for the charges until the claim is settled.

    Good Luck

Two ways: First contact your credit card company and dispute the charges. Then, call the Better Business Bureau and report the company.
